moments from a month ago
feel like distant memories
the person who i was a month ago
feels like a person i cannot recognise

speaking about how you feel will never ruin a real connection
speaking about how you feel should never be something to fear
speaking about how you feel should never feel like a burden
speaking about how you feel will never tarnish love

the term 'based' within the context of urban culture is very interesting
largely credited to originate from lil b
the word 'based' was adopted from an old smoking term
basehead
based being derived from such
later meaning
a crackhead
where lil b adopted the term to change it to a positive idea of embracing who you are
'Based means being yourself. Not being scared of what people think about you... When I was younger, based was a negative term... I started embracing it like, 'Yeah, I'm based.' I made it mine.' - Lil B, 2010
This gave the term a positive connotation
with its primary routes in being true to yourself and self love
Later on
this term was adopted by incel and neo-nazi culture on places like 4chan
the words meaning changed to relate to saying a common, normally politically incorrect, statement
The word 'based' still carries that notion today
but now it seems that the red pilled side of the internet believe that this word still has a good, positive connotation
despite them using it to solidify and normalise their radical beliefs
Its particularly interesting that it is used a lot to spread hate and discourse towards minority groups in the modern day
where the word was originally used as a way to embrace who you are
it is now used as a word to achieve the opposite
oppressing people for being who they are
You aren't 'based' for being
transphobic
racist
homophobic
antisemitic
You are just a victim of incel culture
a victim of neo-nazism
a victim of self ego and the modern day desire to be perceived as
different
and 'aware'

claviculars nose job wasn't a botched plastic surgery process
its an example of how beauty comes from the imperfections
as you try to perfect your facial harmony, you take away the human aspects of yourself
a face isn't perceived as perfect because it meets certain metrics
its when it meets your own personal taste

the thought of not knowing is terrifying
i wish i could live the same day on repeat
the same foods
the same people
the same experiences
i hate change
i hate not being able to prepare
i hate not knowing what to expect
people are confusing
people have no set solution
joy comes from the unknown
the unknown is necessary

i often change to accommodate what i believe a person may want from me
whether that be my interests, beliefs or basic personality
i change the shape of myself so much for someone that i have to wonder if they know my true shape

i meld myself to the shape of others far more often than people meld to the shape of me
